Come explore the nature and rich history of America’s first major landscaped public park, guided by our own lifelong New Yorker and park enthusiast, Steve Katz with additional contributions from members.

Location:  Central Park, 61st Street and 5th Avenue entrance to the park. Just 2 blocks north of the N, R, and W 5th Avenue Station, 2 blocks north and 1 block east of the F train 57th Street station and 3 blocks west and 2 blocks north of the 4, 5, 6, N, R, W 59th Street and Lexington Avenue station. Please check the MTA website http://alert.mta.info/ for updates on delays and track work.

Please make sure to wear comfortable walking shoes and check the weather forecast to determine appropriate dress. It is also suggested to bring some cash for snacks and souvenirs although, we may go out to eat after.
